In this video, political debate becomes a mere residue
of speech, amplified then reverberated as metaphor for the unforeseen
repercussions of war. The idea comes from Heinrich Böll’s "Dr. Murke
and his collection of silences"* where the psychoanalyst edits tape interviews
with patients by joining gaps in conversation to make a sequence of silences.
