A film that I made over 25 years ago was transferred to digital video and sampled to obtain image sequences of a city; its historic cathedral, castle and deserted streets. All images were slowed down to one third of normal speed and centred with a duplicate mirror image placed to either side to form a rectangular triptych. The captions beneath the images describe some personal aspects of one inescapable phantom.
